Early Childhood Essay

Early Childhood Many have agued about the contributing factors to the differences that fathers and mothers have. Some have associated the differences with gender socialization while others have linked it to be biological. Of course, these two have contributed but we cannot run from the key contributor, biological. Our bodies and characters are manifested through the biological process that takes place in our bodies.

Fathers are always different to mothers in terms of their voices where most of the fathers tend to have deep voices contrary to women who have high pitched voices. Emotionally fathers are strong where crying or showing fear is not much evidenced in them like the way mothers tend to be weak emotionally; they cry easily and have a lot of fear. Fathers can also be described as impassive while mothers are passive, fathers are rational in terms of their decision while women are irrational, fathers are rough while women are gentle, and while fathers are strong mothers are weak. Men are direct in their approach to issues while women are indirect, (John Stossel, 1998).

People have tried to argue the differences of father and mother to be based on gender socialization for example some community even consider a taboo for fathers or men to cry or showing fear, in the teenagers young age they are natured in an environment where they are taught as they always see happening; men are not suppose to cry or have fear while women are left free without any caution against that, they therefore live in a world where they don't see crying or fear as a negative setback....

They also read from the novel and also watch from movies that women are supposed to be weak emotionally. Yes to some extent that may be true but a deeper analysis of the gender differences proves otherwise. It confirms that majorly the differences are biological.
The differences between father (men) and mother (women) have been facilitated with biological differences that exist between male and female. It causes enduring differences in capabilities as well as depositions. It is believed that due to higher testosterone men becomes more aggressive as compared to women. Left-brain dominance is argued to lead men to be more rational and on the other hand women relatively lack brain lateralization which leads them to be more emotional.

Some researchers have argued that usually sex-specific differences tend to be situated in the higher brain regions and primitive regions. 70% of neurons within the central nervous system are found in the neocortex, it has a division of two hemispheres that is joined by corpus callosun (200-million fiber networks). The right hemisphere is responsible for emotional stimuli, facial expressions, vocal intonations, and spatial relationships, while the left hemisphere controls body movements, expression and language analysis. Therefore the difference in the way fathers and mothers process information is due to differences in apportion of the brain known as the splenium, which tend to be larger in women as compared to men, as well as having more brain-wave activity. According to the studies problem solving tasks in female brains…
